Carl A. Nelson & Company was awarded a general contract to install odor control systems and other equipment to address odor complaints from residents living nearby the City of Burlington's Wastewater Treatment Plant, which is located within the city adjacent to the Mississippi River and near a residential neighborhood.
The $481,000 project included installation of FRP and aluminum covers over the plant's primary clarifier and wet well, as well as installation of five odor treatment units and related FRP ductwork.
