Where We Work
Carl A. Nelson & Company is an Eastern Iowa-based construction firm with offices in Burlington, Iowa, and Cedar Falls, Iowa. Our design-build, construction management and general contracting firm does business across the state, throughout the Midwest and all around the United States.
We are a licensed contractor in 22 of the 50 states to meet the needs of repeat clients, who represent about 80% of our annual construction volume. Our primary service area is within about 350 miles of our main office in Burlington, which includes all or portions of:
Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
We also are licensed in:
Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia.
International Clientele
In addition to our work for U.S.-based companies, we also have experience working amid the unique requirements of clients owned by overseas corporations.
