Growing CANCO North team moves to new location

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — With the addition of a new member to its team of construction engineers and managers, the Carl A. Nelson & Company (CANCO) office in Cedar Falls is relocating to larger quarters in August.

The move to 4600 University Ave., Ste. 4, becomes effective Monday, Aug. 2, 2021.

Jamie Stanley, vice president of operations for CANCO North in Cedar Falls, said a growing staff necessitated the move. In addition to Stanley, the office includes four projects managers, one project engineer, a project manager assistant and a recently added project executive and business development specialist. Members of the team in Cedar Falls support projects across market segments including industrial, healthcare, education and recreation, as well as laboratory, power, water/wastewater treatment, civic, warehouse and distribution and pre-engineered metal buildings.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is being planned for September with help from the Grow Cedar Valley ambassadors.

Founded in 1913 in Burlington, Iowa, Carl A. Nelson & Company established a presence in northeast Iowa with the opening of an office in 2008 in Waterloo. The office moved to Cedar Falls in 2015, spending six years at the 1704 State St. location.
