A quartet of Carl A. Nelson & Company project foremen recently were promoted in March 2025 to the role of project superintendent. They are:

Named a Project Superintendent in March 2025, Avery Fader joined Carl A. Nelson & Company as a field engineer in 2018. He started work on the Monday immediately following his graduation ceremony at Western Illinois University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management.

Andrew Quam began his career as a construction craftsman with Carl A. Nelson & Company in 2015 and has earned quick promotion through the ranks. Andrew was promoted to the role of field foreman in 2019, then advanced to project foreman in 2022 prior to being named Project Superintendent in March 2025.

Earl D. Vincent joined Carl A. Nelson & Company in 2011 and was promoted to the role of field foreman in 2019. He advanced to project foreman in 2022 prior to being promoted to Project Superintendent in March 2025.

Jim Widger began a construction career that’s now in its fifth decade after graduating from high school in 1978 and came to work with Carl A. Nelson & Company in 2004. He was promoted to field foreman in 2016, then advanced to project foreman in 2022 before being promoted to Project Superintendent in March 2025.
